Evan Jacobs’ passion for real estate developed while studying real estate law, and his negotiating savvy was honed while working at a prominent New York landlord/tenant law firm. Understanding that the purchase or sale of a home is a delicate blend of legalities, finances and emotions, Evan decided to capitalize on his specialty in real estate law and bring his skills to the world of residential sales, helping clients achieve the value and service they deserve.
Evan is as effective working with people as he is with numbers and contracts.
He possesses a deep knowledge of landlord/tenant law, coop/condo law, board package preparation, pricing strategies and market statistics, which he draws upon to ensure a smooth, successful deal for every client.
Complementing his professional side is Evan’s warm, witty, empathetic and outgoing personality. He approaches life with a smile, and loves helping clients realize their dreams. Evan believes that a good broker has that important balance of being congenial as well as being driven and shrewd when necessary to protect his clients’ interests. He demonstrates these traits to the fullest.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Evan holds a B.A. degree in English and American Literature from New York University and a J.D. from New York Law School. Prior to joining Park-River Properties, he worked closely with several of New York City’s top brokers. A former Manhattan resident for many years, Evan currently lives in Jersey City. |
