Bookkeeper/Assistant Manager

Vision Property Management, is seeking a talented Bookkeeper/Assistant Manager for their team.

Candidates MUST have 3-5 years of Yardi Voyager experience NO Exceptions. Job duties consist of AP, AR, bank reconciliations within Yardi. Multi-Family experience is a plus.

Real Estate Internship

Job Description: 

  •  Processing receivables and payables
  •  Monthly close including work papers and bank reconciliation
  •  Prepare monthly financial statements including analysis of income statement and balance sheet accounts
  •  Monitor daily cash flow
  •  Assist with quarterly financial statements and year-end audit and tax compliance.

Desired Attributes:

  •  Bachelors Degree in accounting (or last year at school) with some real estate industry accounting experience
  •  Excellent accounting skills
  •  Experience with Yardi Voyager
  •  Ability to meet deadlines and work independently, as well as part of a team  
  •  Strong communication and people skills
  •  Excellent excel and computer skills

Job Description:

  • Work directly with the company’s principals to establish and manage online marketing strategy for all of Gaia’s and its subsidiary companies (Vision Group and Park River Properties)
  • Responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive online strategy, planning and implementing online advertising campaigns, delivering a superior website user experience, and utilizing website analytics to maximize lead generation and customer conversion
  • Monitor and analyze customer, market to improve effectiveness of internet marketing activities
  • Work in conjunction with principals to develop an effective social media strategy for the company and its specific projects in the tri-state area
  • Develop and monitor search engine optimization
  • Manage and control all aspects of the companies on-line marketing campaign

Job Requirement:

  • Knowledge of and a proficiency in using Computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and internet
  • Proficient in SEM, SEO, and other online marketing activities
  • Knowledge of current and emerging web/internet applications
  • Excellent written skills
